Every year, Management Sciences for Health hosts high-level study tours for senior staff members of Congress and the US Administration. Each trip takes the delegates into the field to experience firsthand the impact of U.S. investments on global health. Accompanied by local implementers and subject matter experts, the delegates engage in briefings with local leaders and government officials, tour local health facilities and meet with partner organizations and members of the local community.
Effective foreign assistance policies and programs not only save lives, but foster sustained growth, encourage transparent and accountable institutions and strengthen critical investments in health and development. MSH study tours provide fresh perspective on global health priorities and the critical role played by the U.S. government as we work shoulder to shoulder with local colleagues and partners to empower healthy people and communities all over the world.
